We are pleased to present our 15th annual meeting "Crossing the bridge between academia and industry in medicine development" which will be held at the University of Salerno on 20-21 July.
The meeting aims to analyze and understand the relationship and interactions between the world of academic research and the productive reality of the pharmaceutical and health product industries. In universities and research centers, the innovations that industry will lead to evolve into products are born and tested. The topic will be opened thanks to the participation of internationally renowned speakers who will bring the voice of academia and industry.
The second part of the activities will give space to young people, PhD students and researchers, who will be able to present their research project in a stimulating context that promotes constructive dialogue. Given the success achieved with its first edition in
Ferrara in 2022 and the participation of over thirty emerging researchers, the "5 Minute Project" contest will be re-proposed. The formula provides for a five-minute presentation of the research project and with only one slide available, in order to stimulate the synthesis ability and the attitude for disseminating complex contents with an approach that is both scientific and accessible to varied audiences. The three best presentations, evaluated by the scientific committee, will be awarded.

Siamo felici di presentare il nostro XV annual meeting dal tema "Crossing the bridge between academia and industry in medicine development" che si terrà presso l'Università di Salerno dal 20 al 21 luglio. Saranno analizzate e comprese le relazioni e interazioni tra il mondo della ricerca accademica e la realtà produttiva delle industrie farmaceutiche e dei prodotti della salute. In università e centri di ricerca nascono e si sperimentano le innovazioni che l’industria porterà a diventare prodotti. Il tema sarà aperto grazie alla partecipazione di speakers di fama internazionale che porteranno la voce dell’accademia e dell’industria.
La seconda parte delle attività darà spazio ai giovani, dottorandi e ricercatori, che potranno presentare le proprie ricerche in un contesto stimolante che promuova il confronto costruttivo. Visto il successo ottenuto con la sua prima edizione a Ferrara nel 2022 e la partecipazione di oltre trenta emerging researchers, verrà riproposto il “5 Minute Project” contest. La formula prevede un’esposizione in cinque minuti della ricerca con l’ausilio di un’unica slide, così da stimolare anche la capacità di sintesi e l’attitudine a divulgare contenuti complessi con uno taglio allo stesso tempo scientifico e fruibile da audience diversi. Le tre presentazioni valutate come migliori dal comitato scientifico, verranno premiate.
